13+ young people

Please create a filter to keep it accessible for young people and both sides of the moral compass.
Thanks.

Hi @crypteauxcajun ,

As far as I know, they enabled a “NSFW” tag on NFTs, those who are tagged with are not visible, even on the front page from verified users unless a specific filter is checked.

By the way, why would children come to a NFT site? They can’t by anything or do any transaction and I don’t think the NFT world is especially appealing to youngsters.

Can you point me to the location of the filter. Thanks.

I can’t for now as the categories are not accessible to me from my browser, but some users reported that their NFT have been tagged NSFW and wont appear like that on the Rarible page.

My 5y/o son is into art/nfts… he has no idea what they are ATM but sees me play around. He’s constantly drawing “nfts”! Lol to him it’s not artwork it’s creating NFT’s lol

He has A LOT I could post, however his Coinbase wallet is growing very slowly, he needs to do a lot more chores before he can spend his allowance to post them!

Lolol correct, not yet that I know of! Although he does find some very odd stuff on the internet when he uses my iPad instead of his, so you never know! Hahaha kids are smart, he peaks when I type my unlock code. I have to change it weekly! :man_facepalming:t3:
He’s only 5 so I’m guessing by 13 browsing rarible is a very high possibility! Just adding validation to the OP

Art is art, and as its not porn, and as the tag “NSFW” already exists, I don’t think it’s necessary.
Art may be provocative, aesthetic, engaged etc. but it’s art and note done always to please the viewer.

that’s my thoughts  where would those kids get their Ethereum? In my country kids can’t have any bussines, only with paper agreegment from the parents… I wish there would be higher border, like 18plus for everyone.

Most kids won’t have ethereum or know how to get it, or even know or care to find this site. However some nft’s, like polkamon and the like, might draw them in. Back to the ethereum, I see it as a very innovative and possibly life changing investment into my kids future which is why I deposit 1/4 of my monthly eth mining into each of my kids Coinbase wallets! So as uncommon as it may be, kids do have ethereum, I doubt I’m the only person doing this. I feel it’s a better investment than tossing FIAT into a bank account!
@Sheratan already addressed the op, so this is just a random banter thread ATM
