Hi and welcome among us, @AidanSloan,
Your NFT is interesting but your post is off-topic.
I wish you the best here.
Thank you for the welcome and compliment, @Sheratan ! It’s traditional AND digital! I used mixed media (HELLA mixed, haha), digitized it, then added the digital elements (the flowers, detailing of the girl, shadows & highlights, background and more ) to complete the piece!
Keep a look out for your newest follower on Instagram @seohyun.kris.kim - I’m looking forward to checking out your painting process especially!!
Agreed. The homepage is so boring to look at. I mean is, each to their own, but a few decent works of art on the page would make a huge difference. Anyone with a more traditional sense of aesthetics about art who stumbles across Rarible will probably leave in seconds if they have no idea what the whole thing is all about.
@KENOBI I totally agree - too many copied clichés and not enough free, original creativity.
But sometimes it rubs off in the subconscious - my cover image for example might well be Elon Musk in 2080 (cough)
People just copy some works from ther people and this snowball keeping rolling and it’s getting bigger and bigger
We have to bring new ideas and develop our community - not stuck in 3 popular topics
Old friends in Cyrpto Olympics.
Oh yes, it gets boring after seeing 100 variations of the same object - lots of people just wanna grab some quick cash and they imitate other sellers instead of trying something new. The art curation part of rarible is still missing - having a sub category like “NFT exhibition” or “Curated Works” on the homepage would definitely set a higher level for art enthusiasts I don´t want to scroll through hundreds of dogs and musks every time on the home page to look for new artists - but as mentioned above it´s a trend and rarible is changing and adapting itself to market demands - which could lead to disaster for some digital artists, who are not producing “pop art”.
i feel like a lot of the art is trying to pin you all as bitcoin nerds and that’s not the case. i to see way to much Elon Musk faces . Drop art will feelings and true pain or something that has a meaning behind it, other than a logo or some rich dude. Show your face instead maybe a friends or a loved one. As an artist i feel like art always has to be some rich or famous person face just to sell it or get LIKES from others. So instead let’s flood the market with something different, i know i will…vote no on prop 420noskull,coin,elonMusk nfts! Ha!
Im positive that trash will sort out and exiting new art styles will arise
Hi @Waylin! Could you share a link to your Raribble profile or Instagram?
Generally Agree. My Coins thought I think you will find are a lot more original not Elon or Doge.
Do you have a link to your profile for me?
I guess nft art is about SKULLS remodifications.
Otherwise I feel same way you do.
Maybe other interpretation but don’t feel bad about my soft critics.
Every artist is used to Art critics .
