I specialized in portraiture until 2009, when my career was cut short by an undiagnosed illness called Combined Immunodeficiency Disease. That, combined with the recession, left me homeless in Los Angeles where I became severely depressed and suicidal. In 2019 found a doctor who accurately diagnosed me and I’m now receiving the appropriate treatment. During the COVID pandemic, I re-discovered my love of art and the process of creating it. I thought I’d lost my talent. But I see now that it was just waiting for me to tap into it again. I’m so glad I did! Notable celebrities, such as Johnny Depp, own some of my earlier works.
